Freelancers snap up tickets to their own film festival
Virtual ‘Admit One’ tickets to a series of short films capturing life and work as a freelance professional in the UK are being snapped up online, its makers have confirmed.
The tickets, effectively a pass that gives its holder advance notice of when the film is available to view, are on offer through a website bearing the project’s name – 7 Days in June.
Alongside the release of the tickets, the project’s creators PCG, the freelance trade group, also revealed the titles of the seven shorts with accompanying teasers of what to expect.
Among them are Making it Happen – a film by freelancers on the realities of being their own boss; Thinking Like a Business - featuring experts’ ‘dos and donts’ of freelancing and A Freelance Career, a perspective from graduates.
The
series finale and seventh film in the series will stream on National
Freelancers Day, November 21st 2012, when the celebration of the
work carried out by independent professionals will be extended nationwide.
