Digital academy unveils three (free) courses

Tech City UK has come to the aid of cost-conscious digital freelancers.

The government-backed group says it has launched three free of charge courses designed to help people start, run or grow a digital business.

The three are - How to use social media for business; How to track performance in early stage start-ups and How to manage customers.

For each course, the types of people who can benefit the most; what’s taught and what’s involved as well as the likely time-to-complete are spelt out on Tech City’s website.

Similar to the eight other free courses already on offer from the group’s Digital Business Academy, the trio of courses “combine best practice learning from the grassroots skills experts.”

“The next generation of digital talent is hungry for success, and programmes such as DBA help individuals to unlock their potential,” said Tech City’s chair Eileen Burbridge.

“The existing courses and new content not only provide the latest skills in technology, they also give people across the UK the confidence and inspiration to get out there and make their ideas come to life.”
