Digital freelance consultancies and their clients are among those who are jostling to secure up to £12,500 each to turn their ideas into a commercial reality.
Thanks to Creative England, eight early-stage companies will win not only the investment, but also one-to-one mentoring, tailored tips, workshops and the prospect of further funding.
To apply, the applicant’s company must be less than two years old and have an idea, a prototype or working beta of an innovation that could shake-up one of a number of sectors.
That idea could be the next big thing in the app, mobile, games or data arenas, or could be the basis of a product for the internet everywhere, special effects, 3D graphics or online spaces.
“The programme is open to any creative digital business,” said Creative England. “But you must be based in the North, the Midlands or South West England by the time you join”.
around is not an option for those who want to join the programme- the Digital
must reach the organisers no later than Friday September 12th.
