Campbell’s book collects the most dust

Alistair Campbell’s published diary of his time in No.10 is the book most often discarded in hotel rooms.

Tony Blair’s former communications director is more likely to see his book, The Blair Years, collecting dust in hotels than Jordan’s A Whole New World.

Piers Morgan, who like Campbell edited a national newspaper, comes second in a list of books most likely to be unloved for his survival story Don’t You Know Who I Am?

Hotel chain Travelodge compiled the list of ‘books left behind’ based on the read but then neglected literary works found in its rooms across the UK.

Gordon Ramsey, JK Rowling and Paul McKenna also made the top ten for penning summer reads that visitors to Travelodge no longer wanted.
