Photographers blow whistle on Beckham

David Beckham has come unstuck at the hands of his most familiar admirers – photographers.

The LA Galaxy star was reported to be in trouble yesterday with the team’s boss Frank Yallop for being caught on camera munching a hamburger.

“Unfortunately the photographers get me eating at places I shouldn’t because I’m a sportsman,” Beckham was quoted as telling The Sun.

The 32-year-old, who wants the US to adopt football as one of its big sports, also admitted to being booed recently by a crowd of paparazzi.

Apparently sneaking out the back of a restaurant with wife Victoria failed to impress the media pack, who were waiting for their photo opportunity.
