Make money as a freelance writer - course

Freelance journalists in need of a motivational boost were yesterday invited to a masterclass in how to make money as an independent writer.

Susan Elliot-Wright, a features writer, published author and short story writer, says her six-hour course will inspire freelance writers and help them widen their markets.

But the one-day workshop is also suitable for those just starting out who want the counsel of a journalist with almost a decade of experience in the industry.

Priding itself on being friendly and supportive, the practical course will give freelance writers, and their budding peers, the chance to meet like-minded people.

The price of the course, which includes a light lunch, is £45 or £35 for concessions – with a £5 discount available if bookings are received before June 16, 2007.

E-mail Susan at susanelliotwright@hotmail.com or call 0114 232 1434 for an outline of the course, scheduled for June 30 in Hillsborough, Sheffield.
