Ex-Dragon pitches a 'kooky' self-help CD

Former Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Rachel Elnaugh is pitching her latest business venture despite admitting it may sound a bit flat.

The former chief executive of Red Letter Days says her new self-help CD gives people and businesses alike a new lease of life through audio messages and advice.

‘Escape the Rat Race’ claims to be able to unlock the power of self-belief and allows individuals to tap into their self conscious.

E-commerce giant Amazon.com is showcasing the product, which is co-authored by author and top hypnotherapist Glenn Harrold, for under £10.

With both his and Elnaugh’s business expertise, the double CD offers punters an escape from the “daily treadmill” so they can “create wealth whilst pursuing your dreams.”

It “sounds just a bit kooky and ridiculous” Elnaugh has admitted in interview, and unfortunately for the venture, it’s a view held by another ex-Dragon.

The Times reported that Library House chairman Doug Richard was contacted by Elnaugh who asked the software entrepreneur to endorse her product, but he firmly refused.
