I'm a freelance recruiter and also volunteer for a charity one day a week.
The founder and main sponsor of this charity had his business burned out during the London riots and the BBC are in the process of making a documentary about him and his charity. We already have a few celebs on board incl Harry Hill (fight!) and thankfully the local community, including Debenhams, have rallied round to get the business back up and running so that the charity, which helps orphaned children in south east Asia, can continue to give 100% of all its donations to the cause.
I'm looking to enlist the help of a freelance PR /
Marketing exec who would like to take this golden opportunity to jump on what
could be a highly favourable chance for exposure through the documentary and
the subsequent media attention on us. Only today, for example, the Evening
Standard are running a feature on us. But we have no PR expertise, very little
budget, and need someone keen to undertake a little pro-bono work or at least
give us some advice.
Could this be you? :) Please get in touch with any advice you can offer - all is gratefully received!
