Freelance Web Designer
I am a designer based in Glasgow with 5 years experience in flash and web based digital design. I have particular expertise in interactive UI. I am proficient in the adobe software suite and have working knowledge of html, xtml, CSS, javascript and ActionScript. My skills also extend to video and multimedia production.
My experience as a digital designer goes back as far as 2004 when I graduated from university with a BSc Hons in Media Technology. From then I spent 5 years working at first in a graduate position and eventually as lead designer for a young, ever expanding company designing, primarily interactive health and safety courses in Flash. My other responsibilities were technical support to customers, designing and maintaining the company website, designing marketing brochures and producing digital marketing tools.
In November 2009 I took the leap in to self employment and since then I have been going from strength to strength. In that time I have been taking client ideas and turning them into innovative web and graphic design solutions.
