Erica Spurrier is a communications specialist with more than 25 years experience in developing and delivering communications and external relations strategy across a broad range of organisations and industry sectors including Travel, Finance, Beauty and Food & Drink. She has great experience in managing communications projects and campaigns relating to marketing strategy, brand and corporate positioning, reputation management, and the financial calendar. She is a very professional, natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, highly numerate and possesses a network of journalist contacts across a range of sectors in the UK national and regional media. In addition she has very valuable crisis management experience.

Erica began her career in London in 1985 with PR agency The Counsel Group, she then moved to Country Living Magazine in 1987 as Advertisement Promotions Manager. She joined the Estee Lauder Group in 1989 where she worked for 8 years, initially as Public Relations Director for Clinique, and later as Store and PR Director of Origins with overall responsibility for the UK launch of Origins. Erica moved to Lincolnshire in 1997 and joined Boots the Chemist in Nottingham as PR Manager for cosmetics brands No 7 and 17. In 1998 she was appointed PR Manager for Center Parcs UK.

Since January 2007 Erica has been working as an independent Communications and PR consultant.
