BROWN, RACHEL

Freelance Illustrator

NO CV AVAILABLE

I'm an exhibiting artist who has become full time in 2012. I've already completed a couple of commissions via this website, the testimonials for these can be seen on my website. I've spent the last couple of years practising with different mediums and styles so now I know I can give you a top result for your project. I can draw fantasy and realism, from manga through to a house in the country and use graphite pencil, coloured pencil (Prisma), crayon (crayola), graphic pen (copic professional) and photoshop. All projects are fully researched to give you exactly what you want. I look forward to drawing for you soon.

PORTFOLIO

Rosie
Drawn with Copic professional graphic pens - the original is an A3 piece and is currently being exhibited in Suffolk. :)
cat in a fence
..... just to prove i can do animals aswell! :) Done in graphite - this is an earlier try at realism work - came out kind of cute and would love to do this one in colour some time.....
Book illustration
This is a drawing from my own book that will be published by the end of the year. It uses prisma colour pencils but shows a different technique and a softer picture - the 'traditional' feel of colour pencils.
Adreanna
Fantasy female - graphite pencil on stonhenge paper. This item is watermarked - obviously once you have paid for your item it will not be watermarked and you will be free to use it for the contracted purpose :D
Pulls Ferry
A realism piece of a local beauty spot called Pulls Ferry in Norwich. Done on stonehenge paper with graphite pencil. I have always enjoyed architecture from old cottages to ultra modern glass and eco buildings :)
Botticelli ipad Commission
This is my latest commission received via Freelance Aliance - I was asked to provide a pencil sketch of a famous Botticelli painting with two changes made, being the Ipad and Steve Jobs. Copyright owner has given permission for the drawing to be used for personal promotion purposes :)
Book Cover Illustration
This is the cover to a childrens book that I completed early in 2012. I have illustrated the whole book and will have more to do in 2013. Completed with Prisma coloured pencils. *Please note - I have permission from the publisher to use the picture for personal promotion use. please contact kirsten Ash at Dragon Farm Publishers - kirsten.ash@hotmail.com. *
