Editing
I was the project manager for Azerbaijan: Live Work Explore, a challenging first-edition guide book to Azerbaijan, released in 2011. I also wrote and edited a smaller city guide to Baku for Explorer Publishing.
Sports columnist
I am the English football columnist for Hong Kong's prestigious sporting institution the Hong Kong Jockey Club. I write a weekly preview of the weekend's Championship matches. The column also appears, translated, in Apple Daily, Hong Kong's widely read newspaper.

I am a regular feature writer for a number of publications in various countries. The thumbnail here is a travel trend article I did in 2011 for Holland Herald, KLM's in-flight magazine. It explores the growing trend for staying local and the emergence of slow travel.
