PAICE, MIKE

Freelance Copywriter

My ability to write clear, effective and readable content is underpinned by a 30 year career where written communication skills were paramount. This gave me a unique opportunity to develop my B2B and technical writing skills to a very high level. For example: writing about xenotransplantation and biotechnology intellectual property issues, clearly and accurately but in a way that non-experts would understand; writing guidance documents and consultation papers on legal matters that impacted on businesses across a wide range of sectors.

I am also very experienced in writing: summary reports (taking research or lengthy reports from business and academia and producing effective, intelligible summaries for wider consumption); press notices, leaflets and brochures; and even speeches for politicians and senior public figures.

Since going freelance I am also building a reputation for producing high quality copy for blogs and websites that can drive sales and agendas or is simply sharing opinion and making comment. My background means that I am particularly well versed in writing on public policy issues and current affairs, both here and in countries as diverse as the USA, Qatar and even Uzbekistan! However, I am happy to write about almost anything and recently I have written for clients in the travel/tourism, food/drink, arts and genealogy sectors.

Whether you want short website reviews, 300+ word copy on travel and tourism, general blog and web content, 1,200+ word articles for your print or online journals/magazines, or technical B2B reports, I produce top quality copy that people will want to read.
