Your Heart Out
Your Heart Out was a monthly music publication which was set up for fun as an antidote to dull and predicatable writing on the subject. It gained a huge cult following, and led to an offer to contribute to the successful Caught By The River anthology of water related writings, which also featured Jarvis Cocker, Jon Savage and Irvine Welsh.
The Handbook
The Handbook was a publication I put together for Virgin Trains which needed to present a serious subject (contingency planning)in a format that would appeal to staff across the company and be something they would, could and did keep to refer to. One of the board members at Virgin called it the most beautiful publication he'd seen as a lifelong railwayman. Praise indeed. But the highest compliment was months later seeing it on the desk of a hardened front line staff member, well-thumbed and obviously appreciated. A PDF of The Handbook is available on request.
